Integrated Ethernet Port Problem

Hello. 
I have a problem with my integrated ethernet port, because sometimes it works and sometimes it does not connect and does not appear in the performance tab in the Task manager. I have an External Adapter  to use. I am wondering if I can fix this.
Any help would be appreciated .

highly unlikely, since it's integrated, it's likely a hardware problem.

Did you install the network drivers from your MB manufacturer?

That depends, how good are you with a soldering gun and an oscilloscope?

Then you'll need to track down which chip controls the NIC, find an exact duplicate, unsolder the old one, solder back the new one, and test to see if it works.

You'll likely need the oscilloscope to determine where the signal is going from the NIC to be processed.

Check for bad caps, or, if it's new, check for warranty...
