Very weird situation

Basically, what happened is that I put my pc to sleep mode and after a while I forgot it's in sleep mode and shut off the PSU and unplugged it. I did some rearranging of cables inside my case and i unplugged and plugged in again a fan. At this point, it hit me - my pc was in sleep mode, it wasn't completely shutdown before I unplugged it. I plugged it back in (keep in mind it had been off for a good 15-20 mins) and turned it on. The bootup process went unusually slow, and then, I logged in, and all my open programs were still there. So, now I ask the questions:
1. Is this normal?
2. Could I have damaged something?
3. What should I do next?
Yes it is normal. The long boot time was surely due to the OS retrieving files from .temp. Just do a few full shutdowns and boots and if it persists, which i doubt it will, clear the CMOS, if you did it correctly you will be prompted to log back into the BIOS to configure, do so and hit F10 to save and reboot.
