Something wrong with my new build

So a few days ago i finally finished my new build with a 3570k, gigabye GA-Z77-D3H mobo, 16gb 4x4 crucial memory and a 980ti. was working fine until this morning when i tried to run the superposition benchmark. windows blue screened and restarted. tried again and same thing. reset my modest gpu overclock and restarted the pc. then it would crash before i could log on. after trying to reinstall windows i gave up and removed the gpu, drives and left 1 dimm in. now it just keeps boot looping with it showing me a GIGABYTE, UEFI DUAL BIOS screen before restarting again. cant open bios or anything. also cleared cmos as well

try with each dimm at a time, use the igpu on the cpu as an output, it sounds like a ram issue if it boot loops and blue screens before windows

done both of these, each of the dimms not working and removed gpu to no success

also it no longer reaches windows, cant get to the bios

are you using a Beta bios, or anything out of the ordinairy?

i assume 4 dimm slots, try each of them to rule out certain parts, it might be tedious but if none of the dimms work in any of the slots then you know its either ram or mobo, if anyone you know has a spare stick of ram try that, or buy some cheap ddr3 and test with that

this sounds like a mobo problem, id be looking into a new mobo if i were you, its unfortunate but it happens

just the average bios it came with, not sure which one as i cant check now

if yoy can confirm with previous owner that its under warranty then yeah of course you can

not with something that old. 3th gen is from like 2013...?

 

did you reseat all of the power connectors?

correction: 2012, so 5 years old.

indeed. 

 

it won't be. it's a 3th gen system, which is 4 years old. 

the original owner might have overpayed for  new board with warranty, you never know!

i didn't know older platforms lived for so long you could still buy the boards 3 years after the cpu's came out... you might have a chance then.

you could mark the thread solved. you can use the ckeckmark thing on the bottom of the most helpful reply. that way others won't come here for no reason.
