waterblock Waterblock for Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC BLACK 11G

Hi guys,

 

I am looking for a waterblock for this card Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC BLACK 11G . Does anybody have some experience with liquid cooling this card? Are there compatible blocks from reputable brands?

I checked EKWB but they don't have any full cover block for that card...

But I found a Phanteks Glacier block which is designed for the Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Gaming OC (non-black) here:

Don't know if it would fit on your OC Black card though...

You would need to verify if both the 'Gaming OC' and the 'Gaming OC BLACK' use the exact same PCB.

I also came across the Phanteks Glacier Block. But if I try to look at the compatibility list it just shows nothing (tried different browsers and PCs). Contacting Phanteks hopefully will yield some results.

Yeah, didn't see anything too on the compatibility list. Contacting them directly is your best bet indeed.

 

You could try contacting Gigabyte too asking about the PCB layouts of both cards. If Phanteks says no but Gigabyte says the PCB's are exactly the same, then I wouldn't see any reason why the block won't fit your card.

Phanteks support says that their PH-GB1080TiGB_X waterblock fits the GPU
