Monitor & TV colour space

pomkon

I recently shopped around for a 4k hdr TV. I now have some understandings about TVs. 4K Tv is a common standard and the difference between models is about HDR.

I got to understand rec709, dci p3 & rec2020.

Monitors use sRGB, adobe RGB & NTSC. What are they? How do these coverage compare to TV colour coverage?

I have 2 monitors I can buy now. which is better, asus MG24UQ or LG 24UD58-B ?

Asus has 1% more sRGB coverage, is that alot? LG has 10 bit panels.

Asus is 50 nits better, supports 3D.

Asus is more ergonomical(can rotate) but priced higher. How much premium can it justify?

sRGB is the same as Rec. 709. It covers about 4/5ths of DCI-P3 and 3/5ths of Rec. 2020.
