OBS got an update... and It fixed the GPU spikes. hahaha .-. mybad

everything went to shiet with the windows 10 fall creators update...

When in Game I get fps drops after every 5 sec..

GPU usage spiking with just OBS open... <-Video

I got 16gb of DDR4 2667mhz ram and a Ryzen 5 1600 6c12t CPU that can't be the issue..

I play H1z1 it uses 9-10gb of ram, and it doesn't use 99% of GPU.... it would stay around 50-60%... giving me 58fps FPS, but sometimes it does go 99% and I get smooth 80fps

I re-installed the Display drivers too, but it still fails to fully utilize the GPU most of time.

if you relize its the update that messed it up what is this post asking?

 

and yes a few people posted about the update fucking up their experience

use CPU encodeing if you are on a 1600

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Please keep in mind that H1Z1 is a poorly optimized game (which is still in alpha) so things like inconsistent performance and GPU not being utilized properly happen.

I know, but I've been playing and streaming it for a month. but this update made it even worse .-. all I can think of now is keep updating windows hopefully they fix it.

seems better then Paladins, that game uses like 20% of a my CPU cores and 30% of my GPU and i still, with that headroom, get dips into the 30fps range -_-

try NVEC then i guess, check over so you havent set some stupid settings

You cant, only fix is to wait for an update the fixes it, or reinstall windows without the update 

 

max your FPS at 60 so it can’t move up or down until they fix it.

 

or Max it at a FPS that it won’t drop from
