Yup!  The more people help spread the word the better!

Use Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, whatever needs to be done & get that link to everyone!

It might not help that particular person right away but they never know when they want a 92mm in future builds or something or for friends and family.

Try to keep the comments going on the petition aswell as here to keep this thread high so more people see it!

Thanks for the support!

Translation: "We've already got the fabrication work done on these and they're in production, but we want to drum up the hype, so let's make it seem like we don't really want to in order to get people to be our own free ad agency."

Pretty sure they flat out said they would do it previously, they probably just want to know they have some public backing, which they obviously do haha. That being said this is a long overdue move by Noctua, I will then finally consider buying their fans for my builds, other than in enclosed server cases. Happy to see this happening though!

uuugh no.

I don't know any modern case that's coming out still using a 90mm fan bracket mount so why bother when the market is so niche.

Yo dawg, have you ever heard of small form factor PCs?  They're all the rage right now!  Not to mention all of the 92mm heat sinks.  Many that Noctua themselves make.  While not as popular as 120mm/140mm fans, they are still popular.  Not to mention, even if you never use them, it won't hurt you if Noctua makes them.

I don't know man, most of those small form factors still use 120mm.

If anything, it makes more sense - money wise - to make thinner 120mm than to do the 90mm.

Agreed! Considering I have several old pcs that make use of 92mm fans, these would be real nice for them :)

:) I really hope this becomes a thing. They are well known for taking the slow path in terms of making cosmetic changes considering that ugly stock color has been their brand for so long :P

It would make sense, money wise for them to do both.  The CHROMAX fans are identical in shape to the regular fans, no R@D, re tooling isn't even necessary.

They would make money on both.  Especially because 92mm heat sinks are still quite common for both small form factor, and thin cases, and while you are right that small form factor cases mostly use 120mm now.  The two put together means a large enough user base for 92mm fans for sure.
