Fans for new build.

Armakar

Looking for fans for my new build and getting aggravated because I can't find the right ones!

Here's the criteria:

I need a total of 6 140mm fans, two of which must be SP optimised.

They need to be all the same brand, and look alike. I have pretty annnoying OCD and it will bug me ALOT if they aren't all the same brand (atleast) and look similar.

No LED fans, unless they are asus aura sync capable.

I would be willing to spend about 10-15 $ per fan.

I was looking at Corsair SP and AF120s (I already own 4 of Corsair's stock fans, but they are 120mm not 140) but they don't sell the 140mm version. The AF140 and SP140 series also apparently don't come with no RGB at all (not both the static and airflow variants anyway).

I really wanted to go with Be Quiet! fans (I have 3 pure wings 2 already) but I don't think they make any SP fans. I also like Noctua, but their only black fans are expensive.

Much appriciate any help.

You could look into Phanteks Halos and get some good quality cheaper fans from Corsair or someone. Not sure if those are compatible with Aura though..

You can buy led/rgb fans and just disable the leds if you dont like them.

Also don't worry too much about if a fan is SP optimized . It really doesn't matter at all so long as they just blow air. People tend to overthink fans. Unless it's a rack server the fan you choose doesn't matter too much.

Noctua has redux cheaper fans. Basically the same minus the vibration things. I would go with the pure wings.

Here are the SP optimized 140mm fans from BeQuiet. They're a little out of your desired price range, but they're about as good as fans can get as far as dB/pressure/RPM is concerned. BeQuiet makes plenty of SP optimized fans as far as I know, but their Silent Wings 3 are some of their best fans to date. There are two links here, one is high speed - 1650RPM the other is 1000RPM.

For a slightly different look maybe you could get these, but they're also $20 per (double kit): https://pcpartpicker.com/product/dCdFf7/corsair-co-9050044-ww-970-cfm-140mm-fans-co-9050044-ww

Why do you feel you need so much airflow or so much SP airflow anyway? do you plan on running two 420mm radiators in your case for a custom loop? that's about the only valid reason I know of for this requirement.

Where are you planning to use the fans? What are your specs?

What kind of dollars are you using?
