?? The $15 add on is 500Mb and unlimited calls/sms.  That's the plan I usually have unless I am expecting to need bore data in which case I up to the $20-25 deal.

Bizarre. I've monitored my data usage and it always runs out after 150-200mb.

I'll check mine, but pretty sure my  napkin math is good.

EDIT: yep for current month the phone report and the aldi report the same data used (3MB difference).

Additionally, I called them up and they said that my plan (the prepaid cards you buy at aldi) is 12c (think) per megabyte and 12c per minute. So that sucks.

dumb question, are you using the addon  packs or just the PAYG credit?

Instead of having 0.00001% of the market have fast speeds why not make sure everyone can even get a connection

I dunno about your country but in Germany you can get a connection whereever you are.

Nvm, I see where I went wrong now. I've been using the PAYG credit, which is actual trash. I'll try to swap over on to the addon packs. Thanks :)

Uhm not completely right. I know of people in smaller citys not getting an internet connection directly.
The only option they get, is that weird Mobile Data thing (like Magenta Mobil).
And of course you have your small towns, that get next to nothing.

As you can see on this picture, all of Germany is covered by the Telekom AG with at least 2G/GSM/GPRS/EDGE.

Combined with O2 and Vodafone pretty much every little corner of the country is covered apart from maybe some really deep forests.

DSL, fiber and cable is a whole different story, but even in little villages with populations of less than a hundred you can usually find at least connections of up to 1Mbit. Sure, that is barely enough to browse the web, but it's there and if it's not, you got at least some sort of mobile internet.

NP, just remember you can use some or all of your PAYG credit to pay for a pack, so when it is due to expire, just use it on a pack and top up fresh PAYG for the next year.
