Replacing the PSU fan

zeus_anoxia

Recently, I have noticed a kind of "scratching" noise coming from the PSU fan.

I have already opened up the thing and confirmed that the noise is coming from the fan (I stopped the fan with my finger and the noise stopped). The fan seems to be just a generic 12cm black fan with blue LEDs.

And the question is: Do I replace the fan with a static pressure optimized fan or with an airflow optimized one?? I'm leaning towards a Corsair SP 120 quiet.

Thanks guys. I just noticed that the Cougar Vortex 120cm fan is on sale at my local PC store so I'm going with that. The specs of the thing look good, I just hope it's quiet.
