AM4 Socket Issue

Is anyone here using Deepcool Assassin 2 on an AM4 motherboard if so can you please tell do I really need the upgrade kit for the AM4 socket ?

yup unless you have an asus motherboard that has the am3 holes as well as the am4 ones. they aren't spaced the same

mine is a msi one and it only has am4 looks like i need the upgrade kit. thanks.
