Help on build

Zentech

I am looking for reccomendations for components. I am looking to build a PC for roughly $1000-$1200. This would be used for gaming, streaming, and possibly small content creation. Im looking for a Bang-for-your-buck kinda build. I am also looking to build this around black friday/cyber monday. So any components that may go on sale during these times? This was my current list but I dont wanna spend as much money + I dont think this is very bang for my buck and more of a jumbled MESS:

CPU: Intel - Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($309.99 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Corsair - H115i 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($139.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus - STRIX Z270-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($179.99 @ Amazon)

Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($98.94 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($66.88 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB D5X Video Card  ($514.98)
Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 TEMPERED GLASS ATX Mid Tower Case  ($64.99 @ Newegg)

I'd recommend a 7700K instead of the 6700K, if you can spare the 20-30 extra dollars. Also, I'd recommend being careful with the TridentZ RGB series as it is known it can become bricked by trying to adjust the LEDs

Frostbite (White build PC)

Spoiler

MSI B350M Mortar Arctic - Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 GHz - Corsair H60 - ASUS GTX 1060 3GB DUAL OC @ (2130 MHz Core Clock + 4600 MHz Mem Clock)

2x8GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance C16 Corsair 400C White - EVGA 650 GQ

Razer Deathadder Chroma - Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition Chroma - Sennheiser HD 598 SR - LG 24MP59G-P

There's tons of posts about it. The RGB modification software is extremely dangerous, since it stores the information on the SPD chip of the RAM, which can potentially render it useless by changing stuff it shouldn't.

It was adjusting the LEDs and using monitoring software at the same time.  It's mostly fixed now

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

I just checked and it's more like a 100$ difference...

Buying from the US there's no chance of it being $100 price difference between a 6700k and 7700k.

Unless you were quoting a different part of the post but idk, your response doesn't fit to anything else.

it worth it. he is waiting for black friday, even if he has to pay 400$ the cpu, rest of components should be cheaper to make it up for him otherwise should go for ryzen when think of streaming, content creation & gaming all together.

if you want to game & stream as well as content creation, dont get anything but 8700k or get ryzen 1700 . it would be terrible decision to buy a 6700k/7700k.
