I would get a 600 wat power supply instead of 500 for upgrading down the road.

The 500 watt should be fine, unless you end up replacing the GPU with SLI bridged 1080 Tis or something but even then your PSU should be okay.

Also you should be able to pick up windows for $20-30 look on the forums for how to do this.

the only 2 potential problems I see is using a 1080 vs a 1080ti and using home vs pro. At the end of the day this system will destroy games and it will be powerful for the next 5 if not more years. If you want to save money I would look for a used 1080 since that card is starting to get a little older and considering the potential of the build I would look at getting win10 pro

Why would you suggest win 10 pro instead of home.

It has extra security features (bit locker is the most notable) as well as support for more ram, remote desktop, hosting a home group, etc. and if you look at another post on the forum you can get it for like $10 more than home

I changed the power supply to a 650 watt fully modular for 75$ from evga

You did that wrong, to show the part list you must find the permalink.

home group hosting is also in home.

also, bitlocker is basically irrelevant for a desktop. and only neccesary if you need drive encryption. unless someone steals your pc or breaks into your house and steals the drive, you don't need it.

to shell out like €70 more for bitlocker is not worth it.

and another thing, shady tactics to get Windows for cheap are a really stupid idea. 9/10 times it's against the Windows EULA.

just get it from the Microsoft store. you are spending more than $1000 on your build, so Windows cost is irrelevant.

You might consider an i7-8700 build with a better psu.

well, never mind then. I don't condone those shady websites at all, just quoting a previous post and going off of a paul's hardware video where he got windows for something like $25

Did you forget the CPU Cooler in your Partspicker list? I have the Cryorig H7 Universal. I am very happy with it. Might be a better choice than the H5 for a gaming Rig such as your planned one. And of course like the H5 the H7 has no RAM height limits.

I removed the white plastic on top of the CPU Cooler and sprayed it matt black.

I hope I could help you.
