Is this an old CPU cooler?

I've had this for a while and just re found it while doing some cleaning. I'm not saying HEY I WANNA SLAP THIS ON MY 4790K or anything, just out of sheer curiosity. Most likely from an old OEM build, I did have a few gateways and HP towers I recycled a few years ago, it might be from that....聽

I kinda thought that too, but if it is a CPU cooler, its definitely not server, as I've never personally delty with server hardware so I would have no access to it

hmm, ok. Well then your assumption about it being an OEM cooler sounds likely then. it probably聽would've had some sort of shroud over it going to the rear case exhaust fan.聽
