GTX 980 Not Accepting Any OC

Can anyone tell me why my GTX 980 is not wanting to overclock anymore? It doesn't matter whether I use EVGA or MSI software, since I moved back to Win 7 it doesn't like any overclocks. Is anyone having problems with any NVIDIA drivers?

RMX 650 PSU

Z97X Fa1ity Killer MB

4690k @4.5

2x4gb ram at @2400

GTX 980

have you reinstalled drivers? makeing sure to use DDU to remove them first

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

maybe the drivers for win7 aren't as well coded as the win10 drivers, because windows 7 is at the end of it's support.

You know it is funny, I tell people to try that, but I never thought about doing it. 9_9 What is DDU?

It's almost at the end. You might be right but I'm still getting plenty of updates.

Display Driver Uninstaller. it removes every trace of the display drivers, leveing you with a clean slate for minimal conflict with shit. display drivers seem to break in every way possible and are generally the reason that something dosent work unless there is an easier explenation

I have never heard of it before. Where do I find this?

I forgot the name of the company but I believe it starts with a "G" so hopefully that helps you get it from the official site. Otherwise, source forge should be a viable alternative.

I found it on guru3d. No problems yet. I will test it tomorrow when I get the chance. Today has kept me busy. I will keep y'all in the loop.
