AM3 wraith on AM4?

Hey all. 

I was just wondering if anyone knew if it's worth it to put the AM3 wraith bundled with the fx 8350 and 8370 on the AM4 socket as it was designed for a higher tdp chip. Or should I just stick to the Wraith Spire that comes bundled with the R5 1600. I've already got the AM3 wraith so I wsd just wondering if it'd be worth it or not at all.

Well, when those older FX chips were overclocked, their stock coolers sounded like jet engines. The wraith cooler that comes with the R5 1600 will do the job when it comes to overclocking and its fine.

If you already have the 8350/70 Wraith, go ahead and use it. It should be better.

The OG Wraith absolutely outperforms the Spire. It's on par with the Gammaxx 400, Cryorig H7 and 212 EVO.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.
