jaffer this is a tech forum what the fuck are you doing

 

I burned my finger while soldering a keeb, and now I have a blister thats about 1 cm in diameter. should i pop or wait

How fresh is the blister? If you did it today, I would wait until tomorrow.

I say leave it alone.  It will dry up on its own, a popped blister stings like hell.

A blister is there for a reason. It provides a clean and sterile place for a burn to heal

Yes, then rub it in some dirt, wash it of with salt water. Lastly poor some 80% isopropyl on it and dry with a towel.

You should never pop it. If it gets infected you should de-lid it with a clean/sterilised instrument. The 80% isopropyl bit could actually be good advice (it is actually used for sterilisation) if it is infected although it would be a lot less painful if 70% were used.
