Looking for name of a movie

PCMasterGuy

So, I've been trying to find a certain movie for a while now, but I just can't remember what the name of it is. It's a typical Black-White Buddy-cop movie (at least that's how I remember it) from the mid to late 90's I guess. I don't remember much about the movie, since I haven't seen it in like 15 years or so, but it's basically about a professional hitman/bank robber who keeps outsmarting the police and killing people on his list or something. A few scenes I remember is one in the beginning of the movie where he smothers his girlfriend with a pillow in a hotel room, another scene where he stalks a family's house at night looking for the best way to kill them, and one of the scenes in the end he's planning a bank heist or something and has hidden a gun in a deposit box in the bank when he get's it the police knew that he'd put it there so they filed down the firing pin so they could get him in the end or something along those lines. I really don't remember how it went, my memory is very fuzzy, but i def remember them filing down the firing pin of his gun. I also for some weird reason remember that he was driving a dark green sedan and that he had a ring which was "unusual" that the cops were asking about when questioning witnesses. This is all I remember of the movie, anyone know what movie I am talking about?

It might be one of those TV-movies, that never went up on the big screen, they tend to be pretty unknown and hard to find...

Yea, these types are rarely archived well on the internet due to their low following.
