Solved --- How to know if steam code is already used

DevilsHand676

I have some Steam game codes that I want to check if they work, so I was going to try codes for games I already own. When I put the code in it just says "This Steam account already owns the product(s) associated with this activation code. Click next to proceed to installation" Does this mean the code works?

Alright yall I figured it out. The code does still work

it means that you already have the game on that account, code wasn't used because it served no benefit

I just tried this with an old code that I previously used for Skyrim and it states the same thing. You may need to try it on a secondary account to see if the code is still valid.

Gigabyte x570 UD   -   Ryzen 9 5950x @ 4.0 Ghz   -   64GB 3200MHz CL16 T-Force Vulcan Z   -   Zotac RTX 3080 Trinity

2x Samsung 980 Pro 2TB   -   2x Seagate Exos X14 10TB 7200 RPM 256MB   -   Corsair RM1000x    -    Lian Li Lancool One

Can't say for sure.. it might say that even if the code is used..
you might be able to contact steam directly and ask them if you can verify the codes with them?

also, wrong forum

Have you tried to perform a sudden temporary interrupt of the electricity flow to your computational device followed by a re-initialization procedure of the central processing unit and associated components?
