If my playlist ends and I don't have any stops between myself and my destination to change to another.

My eyes see the past…

When I'm driving I turn off everything and don't let anyone talk, or I pull over. 

 

I've only driven like 3 or 4 times. I rather be cautious than sorry. I always follow all the laws when driving because cars are expensive, so are tickets, and an accident doesn't need to happen. If I get into an accident it'll waste so much unnecessary time, and money.

I listen to podcasts every so often... that's not considered a song. Same with the news, traffic is important.

the only radio station I get reception on is vtec.

 

 

but nah, I listen to music to drown out road noise.

Apparently audiobooks recordings get Grammys or some music award as the aloud reason of a book can be considered music. Music is generally considered a series of organized sounds, so technically your podcasts can be considered music.

I dont tend to listen to music when I drive. I just listen to the road noise and engine noise as I drive. Its soothing to me.

I always listen to music or podcasts when I drive. I sometimes drive silent, but I have to be in the mood for that. When I was younger and bought my car, I decided to put a loud exhaust on it. But 7 years later, I'm over that and need the music to drown out the rumble and drone the exhaust makes. It sounds great, but after 45 minutes of sitting in traffic, it gets old. If I was to get another car, I would not go so crazy with the exhaust.

When I want to hear the exhaust and the whistle from the turbo (moded Honda CR-Z). I oso tun off th e music when I drive with people, because I like to talk and listen to others without beeing interrupted by the music. But I usually have my phone plugged in because iPhone.

Jesus. you don't let people talk? You need to learn to drive with distractions as that is unrealistic to the real world

dpending on my mood. if i had a really stressful day or just got some bad news or generally know i got a good yelling coming my way i dont feel like music but usually i have my playlist running. its one of the best parts of driving if your car aint nothing special. trap for speeding on the highway hip hop / rap for cruising in the city and hip hop / reggae for sommer days in the country

 

also i have the tracklist from need for speed underground saved and thats a lot of fun for me 

"You know it'll clock down as soon as it hits 40°C, right?" - "Yeah ... but it doesnt hit 40°C ... ever  😄"

I listen to shitty(or sometimes good) metal in my car at ridiculous volume. I've seen my dashcam footage before and it's really odd to see calm and careful driving with that kind of soundtrack.

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

To be fair, service overdue by 230 miles is basically negligible. Most manufacturers give you a flexible buffer of 1000 KM or so (631 miles for my American friends).

 

Sooo you've got another 400 miles to take her in and get serviced :P

Yikes, that’s only 5000 km. My car service interval is 15,000 km (9300 miles). I freaking love only needing to take it in a couple times per year.
