GPU , CPU Usage issue

Hi,

I bought EVGA GTX 1070 SC2 With ICX cooler.

When i test some games , i only get like 40-50% cpu usage,

My CPU is Xeon E3-1270 v3 ( i7-4770 underclocked)

Is that normal ?

Yes it is somewhat normal when the game engine can't use the full extension of the CPU, you should download MSi Afterburner to see your GPU usages with a GPU stressing software like Heaven Benchmark to see if it reaches 99%

Tried that, that's why i was concerned about it , because it did it on 960 aswell, so i thought that gtx 960 is just too slow for this cpu

You could always DDU in safe mode and reinstall the drivers fresh new.

Well, I'm planning to reinstall my whole system, since it's easy on SSD... i think there is some mining viruses and some shizwaz on my pc, because in Precision XOC , the gpu is pegged on Base clock of GPU and even the VRAM...
