NZXT Kraken G10 - where to buy

LinusTech

Cooler size != heat generation.

Power consumption = heat generation. A GPU consumers more power, ergo it kicks out more heat. More info here.

The reason you get the same temps on your GPU as your CPU, is a combination of load, fin density, fan speed, fan properties, internal case airflow.

I've always thought this. Why did Linus say the opposite?

Do ya'll think this would be a good option in an SSF gaming rig where the case has a watercooling ability, but instead of using it as for the CPU, hooking it up to the GPU.  I mean as in a gaming PC where CPU overclock honestly doesn;t matter and cooling can be handeled with either stock or a low profile cooler, but the blower style GPU fan is loud and poor for cooling.

It would certainly make it quieter ;)

How could we NOT want one?!? Especially with the 290s/290Xs, there's never been a better time to get into this market. So much cheaper and more convenient than a custom water loop.

@ NZXT-Eric Will these become available in Europe. If so, can you give me an (rough) estimate when that will be?

The last time I checked they weren't. Thanks for the tip! The white one seems to be out of stock though. Sad, because that one is the prettiest :)

EDIT: Based on reviews http://www.legitreviews.com/nzxt-kraken-g10-gpu-water-cooler-review-on-an-amd-radeon-r9-290x_130344 / http://www.hardware-360.com/nzxt-kraken-g10-liquid-cooled-gpu-mounting-bracket-review/ the Kraken X40 might even be overkill for my Titan. An H55 is pretty cheap and also fits in rear 120mm mount of my case (CM 690 II). Would you guys say that the H55/g10 is a decent option?

I've been hoping someone would make something like this. I'm glad it's now possible to water cool GPUs without a full loop.

I can be a cynical a**hole at times. I apologize if I cause any offence at those time. I also occasionally have issues communicating my point. Extreme introversion + Photographic memory + Some other things.

Is there going to be a bundle for either a Kraken x40 or x60 with the g10? I'm looking to purchase both but it's just too expensive currently.

So i've seen several videos showing that the G10 interferes with the pcie power connectors for GTX780/Titan video cards. Are there plans to address this issue?

I think its hitting the 6 pin pcie cable... the clip that retains the cable. Still looking for the video. This one almost looks like his hoses could be holding the card up.
