From reviews - the 8700k is basically a 6700k with 2 extra cores with high overclock

Don't take my word for it though - find out for yourself.

I'm rocking a 6700k and I'm hoping it will last me another 3 years.  4.6 is my O'C

Definitely need to upgrade.. preferably everything, outdated already...

;)

I'm going to put a link to my PC specs which actually aren't my PC specs and I cry myself to sleep everyday so I can have these PC specs but I can't afford these PC specs so PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs PC specs.

Why did yall take the bait?

Upgrade to a 1950X X4 the cores.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

What? the 6700K can't be so outdated already...

I have a 4th gen i7-4710hq and it's still awesome. So i can't imagine what it will be like having an 8700k after my pc's built.

I wouldn't really change anything but if i had to choose then i would say the cpu and motherboard because you need a new one with 8th gen.

No idea how some people think that everything stated should be upgraded. Maybe they just have high standards...

You need X399, 1950X is the bare minimum I'd sink to, with a Zenith Extreme and minimum 128GB memory.

/s

nothing needs to be upgraded, that PC is amazing and the RAM is extremely overkill

Why do you need an upgrade? It looks perfectly fine.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
