1. Wait for Coffee Lake and see what Intel's i3 lineup will offer.

2. Bump up that hard drive to 1TB. The price should be around the same.

3. Get a better power supply. The Corsair CX450M would be a rather good choice.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

Agreed. new coffee lake products might be a good pick if the prices can stay low enough, or ryzen might drop a few bucks to keep in a more competetive format.

1tb HDD you can get from seagate/WD for like 46$, no point in saving 5$ for half the size and maybe not as much cache or quality.

As for the ram, fine the exact model number, and compare it to the QVL list for that specific motherboard. If it isnt listed, you could potentially end up with compatibility issues or it not running at expected speeds. ALWAYS have to check the little things ^_^

The 5th of October. And no, the i3 lineup is priced about the same as AMD's Ryzen 3 processors.

It most certainly won't!

Also, if you're taking the 1300X, it makes sense saving some money and picking up an A320M board. Or else, pair the 1200 with a B350M board and then overclock it!

no way haha.. it's completely fine. with gtx 1050ti you might need to tune down sometimes in several gpu intensive games but with 1060 you can comfortably play high to ultra at 1080p.

it's only 2-3 days before coffee lake arrives, so might as well list Down the i3. performance should be better than ryzen 3 seeing as it has better IPC.

Dont get A320M, you cant overclock, and the Ryzen 3 1300X is better at overclocking, so get a b350. Or you can get a Ryzen 3 1200 + b350M, save the extra ~$10, also wait like 2 days for coffee lake, it wont hurt to see if they have good lineups.

for overclocking ryzen 1200, any b350 board will be fine. just go with cheapest & 4 ram slot ones thats all . & try keeping 1060 6gb one . it will serve you better in future sense.

same.. & when you manually overclock there are no difference between 1200 & 1300x, so you dont have to pay higher for 1300x.
