Can't insert Quotes on Mobile

Hi,

I've been having an issue where I can't insert Quotes on Mobile. By which i mean that tapping on the Quotes Button inside a Topic does nothing on Mobile when I've tried recently.

 

Using Edge 40 and EdgeHTML 15

OS: Windows 10 Mobile Build 15063.608

 

How to replicate: Attempt to create a new post and try to add a quote by pressing on the Quote Button.

This used to happen on Chrome as well, can confirm it. As well as adding reputation not working when tapping on it.  

But to be honest, haven't had any issues since the update. 

Had the issue once now that I think about it.

I don't have a Windows phone to test this, but if anyone else is having the same issue then I can report it to the devs. It doesn't happen in Chrome though.

Which one did you have since the update? The quotes or the reputation issue?

Oh forgot to mention. Reputation. It was  few days ago but I forgot to report with details. I'll do it next time it occurs.

@GoodBytes and @Ryan_Vickers Should be able to easily verify this. (both have Windows 10 Mobile devices)

Actually at the moment I have an unrelated problem that's preventing me from testing this but I'll try it when I can and get back to here when I do

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Seems to be working fine for me, including multi-quote.

Do about:config. What are your settings

Ok so you are default settings.

 

Try to clear your browsing data (In Edge, Close all tabs, then hit the "..." button > Settings > Choose what to clear).

Clear "Cached data and files" and "recovery data".

Kill Edge, and restart it.

Now try.

Just to clarify, is this a problem with quoting a specific post using the reply button under the post, or a problem with inserting a new quote into the editor using the button on the editor toolbar?

Ah. The Quote button in the editor toolbar. You need to double tap it rapidly  in a row for it work, tapping is slowly doesn't work. This happens regardless of the settings in about:config panel

Yes apart from the Spoiler thing. So the Spoiler and Insert Quote don't seem to work.

Quote, Spoiler, Bullet points and Number points all need quick double tap for them to work. The rest works with a single tap.
