Best Budget LGA 775 socket CPU

Hey Guys please give me a list of best budget cpu with Lga 775 socket

What motherboard is it? Not all LGA775 boards support all LGA775 CPUs.

You can get one of the Core 2 Duo E8400s for less than $4 USD shipped on eBay, and they're pretty good performers. I have a load of them. What mobo and what workload? I'd recommend looking at some Xeons.

What's your mobo? Some chipsets support anything on up to the QX9650 and beyond, others only support Pentium 4 HT chips.

if it's a newer board with support for core 2 quads i'd suggest that, q6600 is very easy to come by for like 20$. or server chips with a small mod 771 to 775

We're usually able to get LGA 775 cpu's for really cheap.  But, I'd also reccomend a q6600 as well..  We still use them for thin clients at our restaurant. If you're okay with used stuff (and in the US),

They usually price that socket cheaper than mainstream sites.

I have plenty of good experiences with the C2D E8400. Used it in some systems (around 4-6) some as giveaways for friends who had worse machines. For your living room media center etc... But you need to look for which cpu is supported by your socket 775 board. In my case 2 boards only could use the E8400 in C stepping (slapl malay) and not the refresh. So you need to keep an eye which version you buy.

Q9400 if you need quad or E8500 if you need single threaded performance. I wouldn't consider anything less for the prices these go for.

I picked up a q9500 for $25 off of ebay after following some sellers.

Paired with my GTX960, 8bg of DDR3 and a 256gb SSD (while not the best combo in the world) it could do some light VR and some impressive gaming.

 

What are you hoping to do with it?

It may be old but it supports all the way up to the QX9770. Grab a 9000 series quad core off eBay or similar, they work really well for a budget gamer.
