Are AMD APUs good for gaming?

Budget players have a lot of decent choice for a solid CPUs-GPUs combo. However, AMD has a lot of good CPUs with decent Radeon graphics in it. So I'm considering an A10-7890K because like they advertise it has got more than 1 TFLOPS, which is probably enough for 900p gaming. Is it worth a shot for AMD APUs? Need cmts.

If you are going to buy a APU, buy a Bristol Ridge one.
