The Dell u3415w could be the first Dell 21:9 monitor with a resolution of 3440x1440?

Yet there isn't a 24in monitor 16:9 ratio with 2k resolution

And instead we have 5.5" phone displays with 2.5K resolution.... yay for d*ck measuring contests with consumer electronics!

2560x1600? I know I've seen one, but it was by Eizo or Sharp and was ludicrously expensive (~$1500)

Or do you mean 1920x1200? There are a ton of those.

2K is 1080p...

It's a generic term for display devices with horizontal resolutions in the order of 2,000 pixels...

I wonder if later on there will be monitors like this with gsync built in. That would be pretty awesome.

Its out in germany too. But for only 750€ (lg 34um95 is not curved but costs pretty much the same) there has to be a trick right?

Anyone got a review or something already? Cant seem to find one but i want that monitor soooo bad! Hope the backlight bleed isnt as bad as LGs and it has decent response times for gaming.

Why only 60hz?

OLED's refresh rate is mostly determined by the scaler, not the panel.

OLED panels have a theoretical max refresh rate of up to 100,000hz.
