Learn history with Assassin's Creed: Origins

When it comes to open world games such as Assassin's Creed: Origins, some players would actually take their time to explore their surroundings. But what's the point of doing so when you got to watch your own back, as enemies are all over the place. Enter Discovery Tour mode for Assassin's Creed: Origins. This is where Ubisoft turns the game, into a actual museum like experience, where the player can explore and learn about their surroundings, in a educational type of way, and get to read facts, done by actual historians and Egyptologists. The mode offers a combat free environment, where players can take their time, and gain as much knowledge as much possible, by going back in time, through the world of gaming. Discovery Tour mode will be a free DLC next year, for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, following the launch of the game this October.

I wonder what historians and egyptologists were actually involved. I'm a bit sceptical of that claim, frankly.

Cool... I guess. I would be one of those players that do it but for the majority of players I find this wont be a big thing most likely at least not with younger players.

I doubt it since the Apple was made by the First Civilization out of some unknown metal. Abstergo doesn't know how it's made, as far as I know, and the knowledge is lost.

The last AC I played was AC III even though my favorite is Brotherhood. I think it's time to go back playing AC.

I've always found Assassins creed to be informative, even without the special mode. Specifically in Rouge, Lisbon mission with the massive earthquake, I actually had to look that up because I wasnt sure if it was real.
