change the color of the leds

So i have a gtx 1070 black edition from evga and i know it can only be the color white but can i put some colored film or something over the leds so it becomes red so it will match my red build a little better?

If.you can find like a transparent colored tape probably.

 

I used to use yellow transparent tape for play set making (plays like in a theater) that would probably work perfect

As long as you can take apart the logo to put colored acetate or film in between go for it. Another option is using red sharpie over the logo.

Ohhhhh... I only came in here out my habit of clicking new threads in the sidebar, but left with an idea for not taking apart my 1080 hybrid and sticking in red film. Or should I just do it? I went through the trouble of doing a 570X build... eh.. I should just do it right. I'm sleep-typing, ignore me.

Depending on your card if it's just a light bar that you can easily remove, I'd take it off and install the film it will give a cleaner look.

disable the leds and put a small mini ledstrip in there ( modded ) ? ._. problem solved? ._____.
