I had same issue with my corsair MX silent... It was just getting used to it. I now type on it almost as fast as with my old keyboard that I was using for years.. I think just.... give you some time maybe ?

if it's cherry reds, you're typing too lightly likely. I'm using a k70 with reds right now actually, I tend to typo a lot on it but not double tap.

I could be wrong, but you may have some sort of key repeat function enabled.
