Leaving Metal Liquid Exposed Dry Up ?

Shadowman

Sorry might sound like a stupid question but need to know, when applying a thermal which is liquid metal (like thermal grizzly conductonaut or coollaboratory liquid ultra)  how fast does it dry up when just leaving it on the cpu without putting on the cpu block? I mean not like for hours but say 20 to 25 minutes.

Shouldn't dry up since it is mostly a metalic substance (I believe gallium) not water or some other low evap liquid, though it might spread out more than you would like possibly, not sure on its viscosity to give more insight on that front but it should be fine.

eventhough it is a metal, its not recommended to leave it out in the open because it will collect tiny particles of dust :v
