Correct any post and title(if the op) can be edited by selecting the pencil icon located at the bottom of your post/comment/reply.

If you need help at anytime, pm a mod or report your post[please add a description of the issue] and we can assist you if needed. We may not answer immediately but there are several of us and we have lives and jobs as well, but one of will reach out to provide assistance. Also you can post questions in the proper section and either a Mod or another forum member can offer their assistance, just like in this thread.

You can't. Use the report button on your post (triangle below your post) and report it to mods asking that they delete it. Posts can get deleted but I don't remember a lot of threads being deleted unless they were spam bots. Most are locked unless there is a good reason to delete it.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

I know it works for posts, had numerous deleted for me, but I've only asked for threads to be locked, never deleted. I do faintly remember a mod (can't remember which one) saying that they usually lock threads and rarely delete unless there is a good reason. I'm sure one of them will correct me if I'm wrong.

Move: use the report button and tell them that you posted in wrong section

Delete: not gonna happen

I made a topic and later requested it to be deleted through the report button and it is still there. I do believe that one of the mods said that they don't do it. Thought  I don't remember the reason why.

Just report it and say you want it deleted and mods should get around to it shortly

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

If the conversation that took place can be of use to others we prefer that the thread be left intact. Also if members had the option to delete threads they could simply wipe away comments they don't like or agree with. This is what the report button is for.

This is one of my absolute favorite things about this forum compared to so many other places. No dirty deletes. :)

Anyone who tells you that you can't do something is unimaginative and probably a coward.

To prevent mass trolling and cyber-bullying.

While yes, doing so to troubleshooting and such threads is just bad behavior. What if someone would have same issue but only sees replies?
