Air cooler which does not block first PCI-E slot

cisto1999

Is there any air-cooler which is able to cool an OCed 5960X on this board without blocking the the first PCI-E slot?

That Pcie slot is so close to the cooling mounting holes so if you want a decent one, I doubt one exist. If you really want it then go for water cooling.

AIO coolers , simply just havea waterblock on the cpu and would fit easily :)

example h100i, aio coolers are basicly air cooling in my opinion xD its not like its a custom water loop :v

if u rly wanna avoid those things, id say u gonna need some compact af air cooler instead then ._.

H7 is probably only realistic one. Are you going to use all PCIe slots, so you can't put GPU to any lower?

I personally put my card lower on the same board due to convenience. It's easier to remove the graphics card and work around.

The NH-D15 doesn't block the top slot but you might want to put a slip of paper between the card and heatsink so the fan clips doesn't cause any shorts.
