Msi is going to unleash another monster

Flavio hc 16

Now someone show me a mid-tower (not double-wide) case that can support 4 of these cards, two quad-140mm liquid coolers with thick radiators, and like 25x 3.5" HDDs (with 15 of them in three 5x_3.5-in-3x_5.25 hot-swap cages), all simultaneously. :P :D

I see what's going on now. With everyone doing RGB, it's starting to become common, so next setup is to have bigger fans to show how exclusive your product is against the others. Sooner or later we'll start to see video cards with triple 200mm fans on it, where it will make it impossible, to close your side panel cover.

The triple power is a gimmick, the hard core OC community got super triggered and now they are reverting to the amount the cards actually use.

To me it's probably an indicator of it not having *quite* as good VRMs and whatnot.

I expected bigger tbh

But I'm a fan of MSI's fan blades and how they look. They're about the only fans with even numbered blades.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Nah I'll still buy a lightning.

I'm guessing the next gen Gaming will have those little red accents be removed and replaced with rgb.

No seriously though this is a stupid product IMO. No reason for needing that much power for consumer graphics.

Kingpin "only" has 2 8 pins but that's enough for 600w of clean power delivery.  Just wait for a vrm breakdown - I'm willing to bet anything it will be top tier vrms.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Anyone else notice what appear to be what I can only describe as "wavy" fins?  Any ideas what that's all about?

I actually dont get the point of  huge GPUs i mean i know they give better cooling but nowadays people are trying to cram in the most amount of performance in the smallest possible place

Not totally true, I personally would never like a small case.

And love the big GPU's. There are people out there, trust me.

Quote or mention me if not feel ignored

It's nice to see a more neutral colour scheme. Also MSI backplates aesthetically are second to none.

(btw if anyone can't see the images in this entire thread, it's lifted directly from Videocardz. They got this no-external-hotlinking thing going)

Perhaps... someone would have to run the numbers on straight vs curved lines with respect to surface area (line length) per volume (area) to see if that could be it.  Somehow I doubt it though.

They need to do one with stock 120mm case/radiator fans so I can have even more Noctua fans in my rig
