slightly off topic, but seems the most appropriate place to mention this.

You have never not been able to see your nose :) Every second of your waking life, you have been able to see your nose :D

if you relax the muscles for a long period of time, do you also then find it takes a noticable amount of effort to pull things back into focus ?

Just thought about it: I can do that quite easily.

Makes for some nice visualizations and makes for something useful for getting decent depth of field shots.

I'm sorry, but I gotta ask... Is this a controlled thing or is kissing considered an extreme sport?

Anyone who tells you that you can't do something is unimaginative and probably a coward.

It's mostly controlled. If it suddenly locks, I can hold it like that and then bite down. It'll slip and then slam together. And it's because my jaw is growing at a slightly faster/slower rate than the rest of my head, so the joints don't properly line up.

Have you ever tried opening wider again to see if it'll shut properly rather than just chomping harder?  Some things work like that, idk if this does

I can also dislocate my shoulder, and also i can separate my thumb and pinky to 180 degrees. I can make my thumb go into a weird position too.

You animal

I can also do this. I dont know why. My doctor said it shouldn't be possible, and when I did it, he just said "..... Well shit" :D

I generally have cracking joints, I get it from my mother. Sometimes walking up the stairs my legs crack, but this isnt something i can "make my body do" it just does it on its own seemingly randomly.

I know a few people who are hyper flexible (down side is they can easily dislocate joints, so sometimes they wake up with a droopy shoulder)
