Same here, I don't notice much "visible change" form a user perspective, so it's hard for me to have strong feelings in one direction or the other :P

It also shows a "x reacted to ..." message every time someone reacts to one of your posts/status updates and every time you react to someone's posts/status updates. It's kind of useless TBH -_-

I got this kind of notification about a thread I created. Although there was no reaction to any post in that thread, so I don't know what it was :P I guess I'll get to see all pros/cons as time goes by.

agreed.

I much preferred when it said "x thought your post was funny" or "x agreed with you post". kept it relevant to what the reaction actually was instead of a generic message.

Also you're not going to get sued over using the word "react" by the Fine Brothers are you?

Ah, I see. I don't check my own profile very often though, so I wouldn't know if having those messages there is good, bad, or irrelevant :P

Don't like the popup menu for like/agree/etc.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

To be fair, not much has changed at all. I think what has changed is nice. Especially the fact people can change their themes now by the profile button.

The heart in the circle icon doesn't really for the style of the quote, share, reply, and other icons. Having a white heart in a gray circle doesn't look natural to a white background with gray icon.

Its good but the top bar seems a bit cluttered too me and I really don't like the Facebook style like thing.  Those are the only things I have noticed, I guess it will take some getting used to. And the area under a post seems way too big but that might just be safari in fairness.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Could you add some kind of border on top of the Page# bar? At the moment it looks like something is missing.

image.png.bb4fc68c15a657e4b094b71f931c9d04.png

The sticky bar up top is a bit distracting and offers no relevant information to the thread you are currently viewing. The bar itself does look nice though (just not when you're reading comments). Also did you remove one of the "like" buttons?

Edit: I see there's now a short delay to showing the thread preview when hovering over a title. THANK YOU!

Edit2: Why show the names of the users who reacted to a post? It looks ugly. Also the number-of-likes boxes are not aligned inside the parent box and I think the previous design was cleaner, these ones look bulky.

Not any more - I ran a survey and the vast majority of users didn't use the pin feature, so it was removed during the nav redesign.

I appreciate that it's not perfect for everybody, but it's only 45 pixels tall (not really massive), and does serve a purpose (it's not just art).

This function is working and already developed. Wouldn't it be possible for it to be somewhere in settings?

And 45 pixes is not too much? WELL, I didn't even gave MS Edge a shot because with tabs, search and bookmark bar it's few pixels taller than chrome.

On a serious note. I dig it.

The top bar is a tad cluttered. But i'll get used to it.

This was designed to allow people to get to things they probably need often more easily and tuck the unused options away, as well as ensuring people don't get lost.  The old site was broken into 3 sections (activity, forum, and store) and now you are always followed by the same bar.  I think it helps keep everything more unified.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
