"Member" is your group, whereas "Veteran" is the default member title for members with >1k posts. Member titles only display next to posts when you set a custom one (which you can do from 500 posts), and are displayed where I have "Developer" and themctipers has "soon...™". You can see "Veteran" on your profile under "title".

Why dont I get a veteran title under my name?
