To be fair everything is about 25-30% more expensive in Europe

Yeah because US prices don't include VAT/Tax in their listed prices; then add a markup.

A lot of states in the US don't have VAT/Sales Tax and the few that do usually have something like 10% or less.

Yeah, I have some friends over there that'll cross state lines to buy some tech because of little to no tax/vat.

 

 

Although I'd go mental going to the shop, tallying up the prices, getting to the till and then them surprising me with extra VAT/Tax. I must prefer having it all included in the price from the start.

No, I'm sure he tried two times first then it asked him to use the passcode like with that ancient Touch ID thing after it doesn't recognize your fingerprint....
