URGENT: Is this enough thermal paste?

As the title suggests, have I applied enough thermal paste?

I went with a pea size on my r5 so maybe a bit more

I'd of made it a little thicker. That looks roughly like a quick shot. The little separate splotch next to the main bit is also a definite no-no anyway. Could trap air pockets between them.

In my opinion, perhaps about 1/2 that much more.  I usually aim for the size of a pea, or a cooked grain of rice.

I'd say that's a little too little, just. Anyway, I'm so used to applying TIM for X99 CPUs, I probably put too much onto my 1700 so I'm probably not the best person to be recommending how much TIM you should be putting onto your CPU

I'd say more, these things can run hot so line method might work better than pea method

yeah your gonna want more than that. Too much makes a mess, too little makes an overly toasty cpu

Yea, that's better. Just make sure to gently twist the heatsink back and forth a few times when you set it on to spread the grease out evenly without lifting it back up to prevent air pockets.
