Using Macbook to relay iMessages to Android

I have an iPhone 5 with the expanding battery defect. It was handed down to me, so nothing could be done about that. I've decided on getting a new phone (Pixel 2, LG V30, S8 range) and I was wondering if it is possible to use an iPhone or Macbook to take SMS messages or some other sort of messaging system(as SMS would require a SIM right?) from an Android and send them out as iMessages. If there's an easier way please let me know. Thanks in advance.

you could always use google voice, also why would you buy a phone without a sim card

Why are you going through all of this work when you can just text people that have iMessage accounts. Unless is it when they are not on their phones?

 

There is no software, that I know of, that can emulate a phone to receive and re-transmit the messages.

Don't you need a plan to text? Google voice could work.

The reason that I won't be carrying my iPhone with me obviously. Most of the group chats I'm in are iMessage.

If there was a way to use iMessage on anything other than Apple products, I'm pretty sure no one would buy them lol.

Well as far as I'm aware, iMessage is an incredibly secure environment with no openness in regards to messing with the actual delivery of the message its-self.

I mean, I have a Macbook. If my Macbook could copy the iMessages and send them to Android.
