Other way around.

Though this is a particularly bad 1080 that's not even putting up 1070 numbers or barely, I think they might have screwed up something here.

This is with literally EVERYTHING maxed including AA, so no hardware is going to fare well in this type of test.

The guys went full-on meme on this one :P

Yeah but that's basically always if you are doing it right, lol.

I just did my own testing and in Superposition I get like 50fps in 4k Optimized but only 5.25 on 4k Extreme.

ik but instead of doing the 720p you shouldve done 1080p because that was technically the point of the vid

That's the point, to not do the 1080p benchmarks

I wonder why we would do a "1920x1080 build" then only show results for 720p, 1440p, and 4k... 9_9

I don't think that comes around fairly clearly since you previously have used terms like "Max settings" or "Ultra settings" yet apparently you were leaving some of those below max. After the post I rewatched it and catch part that but it's just not very effective, not even for a joke: most of us know a 1080 gpu performs far better.

This also explains why 1080 is still standard. People want to play on max settings (assuming the tests are real as some are suggesting they aren't)

Nope....Just nope.

Yep I'm addressing this with the guys tomorrow. I think our lack of clarity here really screwed us as people have no context for why the frames were so low.

Live and learn... :(

I have 6 diff GTX 1080, the result you showed are way to low. There is something worng, you have to test it all again, fresh windows, and mabye a other motherboard.

but anyway, the 1920x will cause lower Perforamce than any intel 6 gen, cause the IPC of 1920x/1950x @ 4Ghz is not that good. "162" where intel is up almost 200 with 7 gen.

@nicklmg Can you link us the two bottleneck videos mentioned by Linus in the video? There were no cards of them.

Literally everything was maxed, including stuff like anti-aliasing. Try it for yourself.
