hey my friend wants a new GPU but he dosent know if he should get a asus 1050 or a zotac 970, which is better?

but why are you comparing between 2 completely GPUs in completely different price brackets(and getting an old 970)?

id almost recommend a 1060 3GB version, unless your playing older games that you know the older tech runs better on.

theres even a 6GB version thats close to same price, and it will probably do the same if not outperform the 970.Also the fan on the zotac isnt really all too great, unless you need that type of fan setup for the build your doing.
