First Camera

Hi, im one of LTTs younger viewers who enjoys taking photographs of random things on his phone camera. But my camera isnt that great, so im looking for a camera for beginners, with a good range of settings (but not too complicated!) and good image quality like 20 megapix+ and not to expensive! im talking 300 Max with acessorys and lenses.

Thanks!

Maybe the 2nd hand market is worth giving a look?

Also learning what the most basic settings do and how to use the camera properly is as important or even more important than the camera you'll get.

The auto-stuff is usually ok but not nearly good enough to get the best picture out of your camera.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

I personal go with this option.

https://www.amazon.com/Canon-Powershot-SX530-HS-Commander/dp/B017WKRAMQ/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1504015397&sr=8-13&keywords=Camera+packages

Shooting in 1080p helps because that what most people use and it is less then your 300 dollar budget and it from Canon which is a good company and finally there is a tripod to help it make smoother.

Wex Photographic, Jessops and London Camera exchange all have used and refurbished offerings you can look at. Pick any beginner DSLR from the past 5 years and your needs will probably be covered. Just keep in mind:

Specify what type of photography you want to get into and buy a camera from a brand that offers the relevant lenses.

Stick to the Camera brand you picked initially, unless your needs change vastly over time.

Megapixels mean nothing. A 50mp camera will be useless with a cheapo lens and inexperienced user.

Exhibit A:

Pick up the latest  canon xx0d or nikon d3x00 camera you can afford from any of the websites I mentioned above.
