re-speced first build, pointers please

hi i made a post last night and took on board alot of pointers i have since respeced it and was wonderieng if the buil;d is better and would be able to run most if not all AAA games

i have been looking at the i5 6700k to upgrade later to i7 7700k

also looking at ryzen 5 1600 with hopes to upgrade to ryzen 7 1700 (whats the diference with the "X" ryzen cpu's?)

450W is plenty for that. Ryzen pulls well under 200W, and the 1080 pulls well under 300W

A gtx 1080 can draw 300w itself in peak & ryzen overclocked can draw 150w =450w? so you dont need any other component & you think that 450w will provide exact 450w?

No need for a GTX 1080 if you're running anything less than 1440p 120Hz. No need for an AIO CLC, a £40-50 air cooler would be fine, and so would the Ryzen stock cooler, at least for now. You can get an R5 1600+GTX 1070 system for less than £1k easy. Personally I'd spend more on the case though.

Dont you think its wise to leave a bit headroom rather than just exact amount of power draw? its not just full load , but there are peak also. gtx 1080 can reach to 300w in peak, you can find plenty of resources on that. you might agree to disagree but I wouldn't recommend a 450w power supply & leave no room for psu at all  450w might cover but thats not a healthy recommendation from my opinion

thank you for all your replys. it seems there are alot of builds swaping out the 1070 for a 1080.

i was wanting a larger PSU for future upgrades as well as a board that supports sli as i intend to add in an additional graphics eventually

Nope. It's not a matter of opinion. It's a matter of fact that a 450W PSU is more than enough for a system with a GTX 1080.

Do NOT just get a 1080. What monitor(s) will you be using? If you want SLI support, get my suggestion with an Asrock X370 Killer SLI and a 750W PSU. Bitfenix Whisper, or EVGA G2/G3, whichever is cheapest.

should have myself more clear, what did i meant for an "example". In full load gtx 1080 will not go over 250w, I meant for "peak" the spikes can get more higher such as said 300w as example, thus count keeping extra headroom. & my point was not how much it exact requires or can get away, with a bit headroom & future sense 450w psu is not "good recommendation". Having pretty much top tier pc with gtx 1080 & 6 core 12 threads overclock able ryzen its best to have a psu with more headroom. as you see He changed his mind for sli now. 450w would be waste in that case. Hence keeping extra headroom for Psu is best recommendation & not really a 450w. I hope you understand.

Justify your claims. A Cx450M is capable of running an R7 1700 and a GTX 1080Ti, bother overclocked. R5 1600 and GTX 1080 full system won't pull more than 350W. So an R5+1080 Will roughly pull 75-80% of a 450W.

It doesn't matter how many cores/threads the CPU has or how "top tier" it is. The fact is that a 450W unit is perfectly adequate and still leaves headroom, and most importantly your claims are incorrect.

It will be going through a 4k TV for about 6months untill I get space for a desk setup

If your going use a gtx 1080 its recommend to have atleast 500 watt if your not overclocking if you are i would recommend 600w to be safe but a 550w would be all you need
