so at my local CC you can take this exam to skip intro to computers class, and pretty much all computer-related classes require to take this intro class first. i might take it, but i only get one shot. should i go for it? kinda concerned that i might not know a couple of the Q's

If you pass it, great. If you fail it, you know what you need to learn. I see no downside.

id take it with confidence. it'll probably be more simple than you expect especially if you have been playing with computers for a long time.
