Looking For a Z87/Z97 MOBO

Hello from Toronto!

So I have a 4770K in a Gigabyte Z87 OC Mobo but now my mobo is giving me a bunch of issues and just needs to be changed at this point.

I don't want to have to upgrade my whole rig because I really cant afford it atm.

I looked online at whats available for Z87/Z97 and there is not much options, very basic options available.

So my questions is this. LinusCatTips Community.

Do any of you have a Z87/Z97 MOBO I can buy off you that is comparable if not better then the one I currently Have? Preferably in working condition.

Pls n Thanks

sorry for posting

there's loads of boards available, idk what you're talking about.

for $180 pick this up: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/mr/amazonca/gBPzK8

Uwot. There are not "loads of boards available" and you literally proved that with the motherboard you linked, which FYI, is absolute gash for $180. It's worth $110, at best.

OP- It happens, LGA1155 mobos got rare and overpriced when Haswell came about and now LGA1151 has been 'the norm' for well over a year so LGA1150 mobos are pretty hard to find, and overpriced. Your best bet IMO, is to find a B85, or H87/H97 chipset motherboard. From what ive seen personally, they are easier to find. Obviously you'll lose overclock support though, so if that is a necessity or is important to you, you'll just need to go Z87/Z97. Checkout hardware swap subreddits, I see a lot of 4690k's and 4790k's on there for sale so I imagine it should be relatively easy to find an LGA1150 mobo.

eBay. You can pick one up for around $50.

As for the post, you can't ask things like that on the forum, so I'd remove that part before your thread gets deleted.
