anyway to change the ports on a monitor

eggbox1

Hey I have a VGA monitor and I'm wondering if there is any way to add an HDMI port to the monitor by soldering or an adapter (without making the monitor fuzzy)
Thanks in advance.

Either use a HDMI to VGA adapter or buy a new monitor, it probably won't be worth it trying to solder on a new port.

You could get an adapter. I don't think you can simply solder an HDMI port in.

Buy an adapter from a reputable brand (mid level).

if you do buy an adapter look for ones that don't require drivers i nearly broke my pc downloading their drivers.

Cable quality or just a working cable thats up to spec is needed along with a decent adapter.

Even if you could solder, it's not going to give you the quality boost you're looking for.
