Corsair utility engine macros not working

It's taken me months to finally ditch corsair utility engine 1.0 for my strafe rgb and m65 pro, it's always worked just fine and i never used any of the features besides macro recording and corsair link for the delicious rgb. but after watching a random tutorial video i decided the newer lighting effects were a better use of my time. i would like to spend my time making effects but i'm too hung up on my macros for my mouse working like crap. and i'm not sure why.

i've tried adding delays and events manually but nothing works quite right. am i an idiot? Why isn't my most used macro not working anymore?
