Why would my 1600x @ 4.5ghz only have a Cinebench score of 757?

As opposed to? The other 1600x @4.5 in that list scores 757. I guess differences in RAM speed could account for the 50 point difference.

How the heck did you get a Ryzen CPU to 4.5GHz on water...? You'd normally need LN2 or similar to get to that and most can't even hit 4.0 GHz...

How the heck did you get a 1600x to 4.5GHz, LN2? I can't get above 4.05GHz with custom loop water cooling on a 1700x

 

Also, send us a shot of CPU-Z while the benchmark is running?

How did you overclock it ? could be misreporting the frequency in the software similar to the vega bugs. also that score seems very low as my 4770k at 4.4 ghz comes in around high 800s to 900 cb and thats 4c/8t

It probably does not score like it is running 4.5GHz, because it is not.

just double checked and most 1600x's come in around 1200cb lmao. fake or faulty

multiplier is 22, running at 2.2ghz

 

Check your bios and make sure its set to manual or multiplier 40 synced to all cores
